The Bat Man

OK I surprised myself, I enjoyed The Dark Knight. It was weird, at the beginning of the film he was not Batman but by the end he was no longer Bruce Wayne.

Like one of my favourite episodes of Batman of the Future, Bruce Wayne has been captured and for some reason they are trying to make him think he’s mad. When young batman asks him how he knew he wasn’t insane, the response is;

“The voices kept calling me Bruce.”

Hell yeah.

“I’m giving micro-blogging (if that’s the right term) a go at Tumblr if you want to follow there. Why they can’t use semantic markup is beyond me, but nonetheless I like the theme I’ve selected.” —That Standards Guy. I couldn’t agree more.

“

In your light I learn how to love.
In your beauty, how to make poems.

You dance inside my chest,
where no one sees you,

but sometimes I do,
and that sight becomes this art.

September Cometh

Its been one hell of a year. Non-stop. Once the world quietens down after August I can work out what to do next. Just make it to September and all will be fine…

Really I just want to leave, escape, run away, leave everything behind. But I’ve got no idea what I want to do, or where I want to go. Not much of a solution but something needs to change.

Best Men

Trying to write a best man’s speech but I don’t have any words because all I’ve had in my head for the last 7 months is J-. Trying to even think of other people, well its hard. Trying to remember enough to write a best man’s speech. Who are these people. I can’t even remember myself how can I remember others.

God my head’s been a boring place for the past 7 months.

42.

Tao gave birth to One,
One gave birth to Two,
Two gave birth to Three,
Three gave birth to all the myriad things.

All the myriad things carry Yin on their backs and hold Yang in their embrace,
Deriving their vital harmony from the proper blending of the two vital Breaths.

What is more loathed by men than to be “helpless,” “little,” and “worthless”?
And yet these are thre very names the princes and barons call themselves.

Truly, one may gain by losing;
And one may lose by gaining.

What another has taught let me repeat:
“A man of violence will come to a violent end.”
Whoever said this can be my teacher and my father.

Sixty-six times

Sixty-six times have these eyes beheld
The changing scene of autum,
I have said enough about moonlight,
Ask no more.
Only listen to the voice of pines and cedars when no wind stirs.
